Last Monday I stayed up way past my usual bedtime so I could talk to the lovely Jason Henderson of the Castle of Horror podcast in Denver, Colorado. There was something of a time difference and I was fighting off a cold and sipping on whisky and lemon and honey and hot water to try and make sure my voice survived. I think it was a great talk, though I may have been tripping on tiredness and flu medicine, but at least all that made me sound more like Tom Waits than I normally do.

We talked about The Searcher, the ideas behind it a LOT about writing process and a bit about the book being optioned by Leoardo DiCaprio's company.

Here's our chat, why not judge for yourself?
